Product families
Product Families allow you to group various products, prices, and add-ons into organized clusters tied to specific products. This grouping enables you to present prices and add-ons to customers in a context that aligns with each product family. Customers can only upgrade or downgrade within the same product family, ensuring they remain within the same set of offerings.
Managing a diverse range of products or services, each with its own pricing structure and add-ons, can be challenging as your catalog grows. To streamline this process, OpenPay allows you to create product families, which help you group and organize prices and add-ons by specific product or service offerings.
For example, you could have a Tree product family that contains different product tiers like Seed and Sapling. Each product has different prices to choose from - a monthly and a yearly tier:

You can present your prices and add-ons to customers based on the specific product family they belong to. Customers can only upgrade or downgrade within the same family, ensuring they remain within a consistent set of offerings.
